We have a wide range of radiological expertise across our network. We also have a well-established reputation for providing expert image interpretation for large multi-centre studies. We have provided this for studies in acute ischaemic stroke, multiple sclerosis, pituitary tumours and Alzheimer's disease.
We have access to key clinical data sets that may be used to validate research hypothesis or for testing image analysis software. Areas for research collaborations include:
- Developing MRI and fMRI
- Novel Radiochemistry Tracer Development
- Image Processing
- EEG, Memory, Attention, Developmental Research
- Imaging Related Quality Assurance and Standardisation
- Further details can be found in the Research Themes section of this site
We are have developed a continually expanding & comprehensive neuroimaging training package for researchers. It will provide researchers with a broad knowledge of imaging techniques (MRI, fMRI, PET, SPECT, PET/CT), including the applications and limitations of each method. Training courses, including eLearning modules, are open for industry participants. Please visit the 'Training & Resources' section for more information.
If you are interested in supporting our training development programme, or if you would like us to provide specific training for your staff, please contact us.
One of the SINAPSE network's key aims is to develop the next generation of imaging researchers. Industrial placements are crucial in ensuring that research outcomes are translated into the industrial community as well as the healthcare environment. We would like to hear from companies that could offer these opportunities to both students and research staff.
