This is chaired by Professor David Donaldson. The remit of the Transferable Skills Committee includes: determining the allocation of PhD studentships amongst SINAPSE partner universities; maximizing the number of SINAPSE PhD studentships; coordinating and running an annual induction event for SINAPSE PhD students; coordinating and developing appropriate SINAPSE courses particularly relevant to brain imaging using varied delivery methods; overseeing the development of SINAPSE training material and ensure that it is appropriate and of high quality; monitoring the progress of SINAPSE PhD students against SINAPSE deliverables; coordinating and developing, in association with the Vitae Hub, host universities and other bodies, generic skills courses or researcher led courses that would be beneficial to the SINAPSE aims; coordinating appropriate SINAPSE educational seminars and events for a wider audience; ensuring SINAPSE students have the opportunity to present and promote their work by posters and oral presentations at SINAPSE and other related events.
