This year’s SANON-SINAPSE meeting will be held in Edinburgh. Following a very successful meeting in Dundee last year, with an excellent turnout from across all main Centres in Scotland, we are aiming to continue to develop opportunities for collaboration, sharing our knowledge and resources to maximum effect.

The 2017 meeting will aim to build on the progress made in previous sessions and develop a Scottish ‘Network of Excellence’ for imaging research in neuro-oncology. The meeting will be of most value to researchers involved in imaging in neuro-oncology.

We are delighted that neuro-oncology imaging specialist, Dr Elizabeth Maher, director of UT Southwestern Medical Centre, Dallas, will be providing the keynote talk entitled ‘Imaging 2HG: A window into the biology of IDH-mutant gliomas.’

The scientific sessions will focus on imaging the genetics and metabolomics of gliomas and we are offering delegates the opportunity to pitch a research concept.

This meeting provides 4 CPD credits in accordance with the CPD Scheme of the Royal College of Radiologists.

If you are able to join us can you please register by emailing Irene Clark.
