Professor Andrew Farrall is a neuro-radiologist who is particularly interested in education about imaging.

As a neuroradiologist, Andrew is involved with medical imaging of primarily the brain and spine. His work is both clinical - in the NHS - as well as research and educationally based - at the University of Edinburgh.

Andrew's main interest is in how imaging can be applied to the investigation of stroke, small vessel disease and the ageing process. Andrew also teaches about imaging, mainly via online distance learning programmes - the University of Edinburgh MSc Neuroimaging for research, and Imaging MSc.

Andrew's inaugural lecture will be followed by a reception in the Sophia Jex Blake common room.

Open to all.

It would be much appreciated if you could indicate your attendance via Eventbrite through the link below, as we expect this lecture to be busy.
