The Scottish Neurological Research Fund has been established to research the causes, prevention and management of neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental conditions. The Chief Scientist Office and the RS Macdonald Charitable Trust each have contributed £75,000 to help further strengthen Scotland’s research capacity in this area.

Funding up to £15,000 is now available to support early-career researchers and increased collaboration across Scotland. The lead applicant must be a PhD student, postdoc or early-career investigator, and a co-applicant from another academic centre (Scottish HEI or NHS) is required.
