Funding call for early-career researchers studying neurodegenerative or neurodevelopmental conditions

June 2021 - Scottish Seedcorn Fund for Neurological Research open for applications from early-career researchers

The Scottish Seedcorn Fund for Neurological Research has been established to research the causes, prevention and management of neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental conditions. The Chief Scientist Office and the RS Macdonald Charitable Trust each have provided funds to help further strengthen Scotland’s research capacity in this area.

Funding up to £15,000 is now available to support early-career researchers and increased collaboration across Scotland. The lead applicant must be a PhD student, postdoc or early-career investigator, and a co-applicant from another academic centre (Scottish HEI or NHS) is required.

Closing date for applications is Wednesday 30 June 2021 at Noon. More information about this call, and the application form, can be found here.
