Little is known about the consequences of repeated subconcussive head impact, actually very routine in sport. Sensitive brain measures from cognitive neuroscience may shed a light on what happens in the brain following such impacts. The multidisciplinary team of http://www.StirlingBrains.org has PhD opportunities on this topic starting shortly. Experience with TMS, EEG, and MRI/MRS neuroimaging is welcome.
