Simons Initiative for the Developing Brain PhD studentships in Edinburgh

Imaging-related research projects available among Simons Initiative for the Developing Brain PhD opportunities at University of Edinburgh

Simons Initiative for the Developing Brain (SIDB) is a philanthropic Centre funded by the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI). The over-arching purpose of SIDB is to discover the biological mechanisms underlying autism and to use this information to deliver rational therapeutic interventions.

SIDB PhD studentships at the University of Edinburgh include the following imaging-related research projects offered for 2020 entry:

Testing computational mechanisms for cognitive differences in human ASD populations (Supervisors: Andrew Stanfield, Matthew Nolan)

Development and therapeutic intervention of EEG abnormalities in early life rodent models of autism and intellectual disability (Supervisors: Alfredo Gonzalez-Sulser, Cathy Abbott)
