Vacancy: Research Assistant for brain oscillations project at University of Glasgow

Research Assistant post in the Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology at University of Glasgow

The post holder will contribute to Wellcome Trust funded research project entitled “Natural and modulated neural communication: State-dependent decoding and driving of human Brain Oscillations” (Joint Investigators: Gregor Thut, Joachim Gross).

The job requires working in an interdisciplinary team of researchers on longstanding questions of how brain oscillations orchestrate brain functions, or relate to brain dysfunction. This involves recording of brain activity and controlled intervention into brain oscillations by transcranial brain stimulation. Specifically, the job requires expert knowledge in EEG, fMRI, TMS, TES and cognitive neuroscience.
