Vacancy: Research Associate for neuroimaging project at University of Strathclyde

Research Associate post available on project investigating neural bases of hypnosis and suggestibility

The research project will investigate the neuroanatomical variation and patterns of functional connectivity that are associated with suggestibility and hypnotic phenomena.

The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the planning and development of the study and the recruitment and assessment of participants. They will also be expected to carry out literature reviews and to extract critical information and key concepts.  The role also involves managing everyday activities that relate to the project, writing up research work for publication, in collaboration with colleagues, and disseminating the results via peer reviewed journal publications and presentation at conferences.  Other collaborators on the project are Prof Irving Kirsch (Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center), Prof Giuliana Mazzoni (University of Hull) and Prof Annalena Venneri (University of Sheffield).
