The University of Edinburgh is seeking to reappoint a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Radiology (Body Imaging) at consultant level to complement existing strengths in its research imaging facilities.

Candidates with a proven track record in imaging research are preferred (at PhD or MD level), but those with an interest in clinical imaging research are also invited to apply. A particular attraction is the opportunity to gain research experience and develop a research portfolio through collaboration with several vibrant world-leading research streams focusing on cardiovascular, thoracic, neurological and inflammation diseases.

You will promote clinical academic imaging including facilitation of workshops and online training with a focus on Body Imaging. Candidates will provide research input to other studies and will also develop their own interests, while enhancing eLearning and on-line teaching initiatives. The post is approved at consultant/post general CCT level and is for three years in the first instance. Clinical radiology sessions will be undertaken in the Radiology Directorate, NHS Lothian.
