The University of Edinburgh is seeking to reappoint a Senior Clinical Research Fellow in Radiology at consultant level to complement existing strengths in its research imaging facilities. Candidates with a proven track record in imaging research are preferred (at PhD or MD level), but those with an interest in clinical imaging research are also invited to apply. A particular attraction is the opportunity to gain research experience and develop a research portfolio through collaboration with several vibrant world-leading research streams focusing on cardiovascular, thoracic, neurological and inflammation diseases.

Superb imaging, clinical and world-class biomedical research facilities are available, co-located with MRC Centres, including two full time research MR scanners, PET-CT scanner, cyclotron, and dedicated multidisciplinary imaging expertise. The Brain Research Imaging Centre is about to take delivery of a neuro-optimised 3T whole-body MR scanner which will be based near the Royal Infirmary A&E department.

You will promote clinical academic imaging including facilitate workshops and online training. Candidates will provide research input to other studies and will also develop their own interests, while enhancing eLearning and on-line teaching initiatives.
