Dr Shufan Yang

Dr Shufan Yang is the Associate Professor in Computational Intelligence, at the software engineering technology (SET) subject group, School of Computing, Edinburgh Napier University. Her current research interests include cognitively inspired AI, reinforcement learning, deep learning, computer vision and AI+healthcare, especially ambient intelligent systems for healthcare delivery. Her research has been supported by SYNAPSES, Innovative UK, EU Horizon, British Council, EPSRC in the past couple of years. She is a Charted Engineer (CEng), Fellow of BCS, Senior member of IEEE.
