Reproducibility of MRI data is a key challenge and one that is particularly relevant in multicentre studies. Reproducibility can be monitored using a Quality Assurance (QA) program but typically these are individual to each MRI centre and so do not allow between-scanner characteristics to be assessed.
We have developed a QA protocol to allow the reproducibility of all our MRI scanners to be assessed over many scanning modalities (e.g. sMRI, fMRI, MRS). These protocols will be adapted for use in NHS scanners.

SINAPSE hosted a symposium day with IPEM on experiences on multicentre studies including quality assurance and repeatability studies.
