The Industrial Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research in Digital Diagnostics (iCAIRD) brings together a pan-Scotland collaboration of 15 partners from across academia, the NHS, and industry. Investment to establish iCAIRD as a new Scottish centre of excellence in medical imaging and digital pathology with artificial intelligence includes £10M recently awarded by Innovate UK, while partner companies Canon Medical Research Europe and Philips will provide £5M of additional funding.

iCAIRD will be centred at the University of Glasgow’s Clinical Innovation Zone at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The following three Management Professional & Administrative positions with iCAIRD are currently recruiting, all with a closing date of 21st January 2019:

 

Project Manager

To ensure coordination across activities and enable close engagement with the between partners, we require a Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for development & implementation of iCAIRD’s operational plans, enhancement of iCAIRD’s external profile; developing effective communication with staff & partners; working with prospective partners to develop & agree realistic project plans; and line management of the iCAIRD’s Administrative Assistant.

Governance Officer

The Research Governance Officer will act as a point of contact for all iCAIRD related research staff and senior management across Scotland, providing research governance advice and guidance, as well as information and support for all types of research proposals originating from the iCAIRD partnership. They will play a key role in resolving regulatory and ethical issues relating to iCAIRD consortium studies as they arise.

Administrative Assistant

The postholder will provide comprehensive, high level administrative activities and outputs to support the iCAIRD Project Manager and other key iCAIRD staff, providing an efficient and effective operation.
