The IEEE IUS 2019 is an essential meeting for the global ultrasonics technical community, universally recognized for the contributions to ultrasonics technology presented there, providing key material to keep up to date with an industry that is growing at more than 10% per annum.

Through the work of Professor Ian Donald and his colleagues at the University of Glasgow, this historic city has a rightful claim to be a birth place of medical ultrasound imaging, with the first paper on its use in obstetrics published in the Lancet in 1958. Glasgow is a highly appropriate host for IEEE IUS 2019 and abstracts are now sought, describing original research in the field of ultrasonics and closely related topics, for presentation in oral or poster format.
