Description of Phd:

My PhD aims to investigate the impact healthy ageing has on the visual cortex utilising techniques such as fNIRS, EEG, behavioural and psychological techniques. We aim to correlate physiological factors that express neurovascular coupling with standardized behavioural and cognitive paradigms investigating perception. We will assess relationships within this comprehensive approach relating ageing and V1 activity across the lifespan.
