Dr Sammy Danso

Position: Scientific Biomedical Data Researcher

Interests:

I am a computer scientist with research interest in applied Artificial Intelligence approaches to biomedical research.  I am particularly interested in developing methods that combine machine learning, corpus linguistics and natural language processing and human brain imaging approaches to explore the relationship between cognition and language. I believe that a combination of these approaches may help to further understand the behaviour of the human brain to be able to predict early signs of brain diseases as well as development.

Institute: University of Edinburgh

Department: Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences
