The Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS) Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) at the University of Glasgow aims to deliver high quality, collaborative research and training for PhD students within the Biosciences.

The programme includes the following imaging-related research projects offered for 2019 entry:

Investigating the temporal extent of cortical prediction in humans using functional brain imaging (Supervisors: Prof Lars Muckli and Dr Alessio Fracasso)

Neurocognition of social versus non-social decision making (Supervisors: Dr Marios Philiastides and Prof Philippe Schyns)

Development of a novel MRI based metabolic imaging method (Supervisors: Dr William Holmes and Dr Rosario Lopez Gonzalez)

Investigation of plasticity of cortical networks after nerve injury using laminar fMRI(Supervisors: Dr Jozien Goense, Dr John Riddell, and Prof Andrew Hart)

Using EEG Brain-Computer Interaction to Improve Performance (Supervisors: Dr Martin Lages and Dr Marios Philiastides)
