Courtesy of Dr Jamie Murray, this image shows topographic maps of scalp-recorded EEG illustrating a Left Parietal effect associated with recollection in an episodic memory task, during the time window 500-800ms after test stimulus presentation. Greater neural activity for high-precision than low-precision memory responses shows that the Left Parietal effect is sensitive to the precision of recollected information. The scale bar represents the voltage range (µV).
