SINAPSE supported PhD researchers Brodie Mangan, Claire Rogers and Maija Pyykkönen to attend the Outreach and Public Engagement Training held at the Glasgow Science Centre. A huge well done to the students who took part in the Glasgow Science Centre Public Engagement Training session in September and returned this month to deliver their activities. The students worked hard to incorporate what they learned during training to develop engaging, hands-on activities in just 6 weeks. They engaged with over 200 visitors and showcased their activities, which explored magnetism, gravity, photonics, and space telescopes that are used to discover new planets!
This project was funded by Photonic and Quantum Accelerator (PQA) and supported by Scottish Universities Physics Alliance and SINAPSE.
