analysis
is
a
key
component
in
most
areas
of
research
in
Life
Sciences.
This seminar will
present
an
opportunity
for
cross‐fertilization
of
techniques.
There
will be
presentations
from
image
analysts
working
within
Scottish
pooling
groups
and those
working
in
industry.
This
will
be
followed
by
a
workshop
or
workshops
to explore
cross‐fertilization. There
will
be
10
minute
presentations
from
individuals
within
Scottish
academic pools
outlining
the
problems
that
they
are
addressing,
the
image
analysis
techniques that
they
employ
and
the
effectiveness/limitations
of
these
techniques.
