SINAPSE researchers Liam Carr and Dr Adriana Tavares, of Edinburgh’s Centre for Cardiovascular Science (CVS), feature in an article in The Guardian. They have developed a 3D-printed device which mimics the flow of medicine through the body helping test drugs in the human body. Combined with the use of PET scanning the movement of new drugs can be traced in the model:
